Dale Finucane

Dale Finucane (born 7 September 1991) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays second-row, lock and prop.

Playing career

Born in Bega, New South Wales, Finucane played his junior football for the Bega Roosters before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He played for the Bulldogs' SG Ball team in 2009. He won the SG Ball Player of the Year award before moving straight into the Bulldogs' Toyota Cup team in the same year. He played in the Toyota Cup for the Bulldogs from 2009 to 2011, playing over 60 games.[1]

At the end of 2010, Finucane was named on the bench in the 2010 Toyota Cup Team of the Year. He was again selected in the 2011 Toyota Cup Team of the Year, at prop.

In 2012, he moved on to the Bulldogs' NSW Cup reserve-grade team.

In Round 13 of the 2012 NRL season, Finucane made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.[2]
